So because of a few events that has happened the past couple of weeks I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve have being giving attention to the wrong people. Instead of focusing on the people who are there and present in my life I was focusing on the people who aren’t. It didn’t do anything good for me.
We have to look at the people who are there in our lives. The people whose actions does the talking not just their mouths. We often focus on the negative or what’s going wrong in our lives. That’s not the right mindset. We have to focus on the good and that means the good people in our lives.
I had it all wrong. So I’m sorry to my wonderful people I love who show up every single time. Who adds value to my life. Those special individuals I can call at any time. Who I can cry with, eat with, drink with, and do an occasion investigation. The people who actually listen to our podcast without me asking. The people I can depend on and trust. You guys are so popping and I’m blessed to have you all in my life. That’s what I need to acknowledge and that’s what I want you to acknowledge. That’s where our energy should be spent and given outside of ourselves of course. (self-development is key my friends)
Lastly, for the individuals who have disappeared or those who don’t show up for you. Don’t let other people’s actions make you feel you any less important or special. You are a good person and you are something special to others. If they can’t see it, it is truly their loss. Don’t even give them your attention. Make peace, wish them well, and move on. Keep that negative energy out of your life.
Cherish your human connections – your relationships with friends and family.
