My message today is short, easy, and to the point. I was talking to my friend last night and she was talking about whether she wanted to move forward with a particular guy she’s seeing. She’s talking about her feelings and we come to the realization that she in this moment is the problem. How you ask?  She is in her own way.

Do I do that?  Yup      Do you do that?  I am sure you have.     Why though?

We complain because guys are trash and we are tired of dealing with them. We just want one good guy to come around us. Then when it happens we can’t accept it. How crazy is that? It’s like we don’t know how to be happy. I’ve done it before. Everything is going so well you start to question why is everything going so well. (Sometimes we are a little crazy.) I understand you’ve been through some things but we all have and you can’t move forward in love if you are carrying past baggage or if you are creating baggage. We have to stop making things complicated. Here are two questions to ask yourself.

Do you like him?

Is he treating you well?

If you answered yes, then shut up and be happy. Keep dating him, seeing him, whatever you want to call it. Don’t block the happiness. You can be cautious of course but don’t ruin it if everything is going well. Problems occur in relationships naturally so there is no need to add to the mix. I find an accountability partner helps in these matters. Have one dedicated friend to call you out when you’re acting foolish. I love helping my friends especially when it comes to relationships and love. I love/hate when they have to call me out, however, in every situation it’s needed. The key to this is to live in your truth. You have to be honest and ready to own up to your actions. It is about acknowledging them and moving forward.
